Natasha Zinko – London Fashion Week Catwalk Show

We 3D-printed several fashion accessories for a renowned fashion designer just in time for London Fashion Week 2023. The collection, designed by Zinko, featured an oversized monster shoe, a spiky bag, and a custom belt buckle. Despite the tight deadline, we successfully produced these items using flexible 3D printing material.

The Brief

An established fashion designer needed multiple custom 3D-printed items for her upcoming runway show at London Fashion Week. The order included several pairs of monster-size shoes, spiky handbags, and personalised belt buckles for her fashion models. The project required rapid turnaround and the use of flexible TPU 3D printing material to meet the tight deadline.

What We Did

Using Natasha Zinko’s designs, we created 3D-print-ready digital models, meticulously correcting mesh defects and imperfections. We began by prototyping with small-scale prints of each item to ensure quality. Once satisfied with the results, we proceeded to print multiple life-sized copies. The challenge lay in using flexible TPU 3D printing material, known for its printing difficulty. We successfully produced high-quality, robust, and functional TPU models.

Result

Our client was thrilled to receive her 3D-printed items in time for London Fashion Week. The pieces were successfully showcased on the runway, enhancing the impact of her collection.
