Handsome Devil Statue for Pop-Up Shop

We 3D-printed a large mascot for the launch party of the UVU London pop-up shop on Piccadilly.

The Brief

The client, a fitness collective, required a large model of their ‘Handsome Devil’ mascot, to be 3D printed and displayed in their pop up shop on Piccadilly.

What We Did

We checked the ‘handsome devil’ 3D model for printability and prepared it for 3D printing at a large scale. We corrected all mesh errors and split the model into component pieces to allow us to 3D print it by the client’s short deadline. The 3D model required 30 days of 3D printing, which we condensed into 48 hours. We 3D-printed the ‘handsome devil’ in parts and delivered it to the client for assembly and finishing.

Result

We 3D-printed the ‘handsome devil’ sculpture in time for the client’s pop-up event. The sculpture took centre stage at the UVU club pop-up shop in Piccadilly and proved to be a great success with visitors.
