Mini Bee-rs for LIDL Bee Day Giveaway

We manufactured 3,100 mini bottle caps for a miniature six-pack product launched as part of LIDL’s Bee Day campaign.

The Brief

The client needed 3,100 miniature bottle caps for a unique six-pack of drinks to be given away on LIDL’s website on World Bee Day. The caps needed to fit snugly onto the miniature bottles provided by the client.

What We Did

We designed the bottle caps using CAD software, tailoring the screw thread size to perfectly fit the client’s glass bottles. After testing multiple prototypes to ensure an accurate fit, we 3D printed 3,100 lids in LIDL’s signature blue colour. We also made sure the lids were watertight. These lids were then used by the client to create miniature six-packs filled with sugar syrup for hungry bees, as part of a special Bee Day campaign.

Result

The clients were delighted with the miniature bottle lids we 3D printed. They used them to successfully launch the Bee-rs product on Bee Day.
