The client needed bespoke 3D printed items in various shapes and sizes for a retail shop installation in Tokyo. These items had to be manufactured under a tight deadline to be ready for the launch of a new fashion brand collection.
Using the client’s 3D models and technical drawings as references, we 3D-printed the bean-shaped objects. We refined the meshes in CAD software to ensure they would be 3D-printable. Managing the numerous pieces and shapes posed a challenge, but we successfully printed all the items accurately and met the client’s deadline.
The client smoothed the 3D prints we produced and applied a chrome-effect spray. The finished pieces were transported to Japan and assembled on-site, ready for the launch of the fashion brand’s collection.
